The Institute for Future Media and Journalism invites expressions of interest for post-doctoral research projects exploring journalism or digital media in terms of production and innovation, content, or audiences/users.
FuJo brings together the journalism and communication scholars from DCU’s School of Communications; data scientists and software engineers from two Science Foundation Ireland research centres – the Insight Centre for Data Analytics and the ADAPT Centre for Content Creation – as well experts in social science, philosophy and business from the School of Law and Government, the Institute of Ethics and the Centre for Cloud Computing and Commerce. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowships: These fellowships enable experienced researchers (PhD holders or those with four years of research experience) to secure their own funding via Individual Fellowships to support their research training and career development. Irish Research Council CAROLINE: CAROLINE will attract experienced researchers from any discipline to conduct research relevant to the themes of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for shared economic prosperity, social development, and environmental protection. For the International Fellowship (three years), researchers will be spend the first two years based with a partner NGO outside Ireland, with a mandatory return year at the host research institution in Ireland. For the Irish Fellowship (2 years), researchers will be hosted by an research institution in Ireland for two years, with a main mandatory secondment during this time to NGO partners in Ireland for research and/or training.
