ONA Ireland Launches with Election Coverage Special

The Irish branch of the Online News Association is launching this Wednesday with a special panel to discuss coverage of the general election.

The Online News Association is the world’s largest association of digital journalists. Founded as a non-profit in 1999, it supports training, networking and professional development for digital journalists.

ONA Ireland will launch on January 27th at 7pm in the Annex, NDRC, Digital Exchange Building, Crane Street, Dublin 8. Panelists discussing election coverage include:
Paddy Logue, Digital Editor with The Irish Times;
Susan Daly, Editor with The Journal.ie;
Niamh Lyons, Political Editor with the Ireland edition of The Times;
Glen Mulcahy, Innovation Lead with RTÉ;
Gavan Reilly, Political Correspondent with Today FM;
Paraic Gallagher, Political Correspondent with Newstalk 106 and
Joe Galvin, News Editor with Storyful.
