New Series Examines Reporting of Climate Change and Terrorism

The Conversation is a new series of monthly events bringing together journalists and industry experts to discuss the major issues shaping our world. The series is hosted by NOA (News Over Audio), which provides streaming platform for news publishers including the Financial Times, the (UK) Independent, and The Irish Times.

The inaugural event will examine journalism, climate change, and terrorism with a panel including former editor of The Irish Times  Kevin O’Sullivan, climate change expert Dr. Cara Augustenborg, and Newstalk’s foreign affairs correspondent Shona Murray. Dearbhla Gavin will mediate the discussion and attendees will be given an opportunity to pose their own questions to the panel.

The event will be held on Thursday, September 07 in Bank of Ireland, Hamilton House, Trinity College, Dublin 2. Doors will open at 18:00 and the speakers will take to the stage at 18:30 for 45 minutes. Refreshments will be available on the night, free of charge.
