Google News Lab is hosting a free workshop for journalists on Tuesday, October 24.
Focusing on impact journalism, the workshop will explore new engagement models to raise awareness of stories online, capture audience attention, and encourage communities to take action. Google News Lab will also provide a digital tools workshop to help journalists strengthen their online news gathering and reporting. The aim is to develop new ideas that can be put into practice. Since 2016 more than a hundred journalists from eight countries have participated in the workshop programme.
