Cardiff University Future of Journalism Conference day one round-up

The biennial journalism conference, where the theme was Risks, Threats and Opportunities, opened with keynote speeches from Professor Stephen D. Reese (University of Texas at Austin) and Professor Jean Seaton (University of Westminster).

The conference is hosted by the Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies (JOMEC) at Cardiff University and organised by a team which consists of: Prof Stuart Allan; Dr Stephen Cushion; Dr Lina Dencik; Dr Iñaki Garcia-Blanco; Dr Janet Harris; Prof Richard Sambrook; Prof Karin Wahl Jorgensen; and Dr Andy Williams.

Over two-days some of the most up-to date and innovative research under more than 16 sub-topics was presented, the full line-up and listings can be found here. But those of us who could not attend were not left out as findings were reported on social media under the hashtag #foj15.
