Reuters Institute Digital News Report

Overview

The Reuters Institute Digital News Report is the world’s largest international comparative survey of the major trends in digital news consumption. It is widely used by industry, analysts, and researchers across the world. Since 2015, Coimisiún na Meán (formerly Broadcasting Authority of Ireland) has funded FuJo to undertake the analysis for the Irish report. Annual reports are available for: 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 20128, 2017, 2016, and 2015.

Dr Eileen Culloty

Dr Eileen Culloty is Deputy Director at the DCU Institute for Media, Democracy and Society (FuJo) and an Assistant Professor in the DCU School of Communications. Dr David Robbins

Dr Dave Robbins is director of the DCU Centre for Climate and Society, and an associate professor of journalism in the DCU's School of Communications. He worked for 25 years as a journalist in national print and broadcast media, and also worked as a special advisor to the Minister for the Environment.
