About

Nhung is a PhD student at the DCU School of Communications and the Institute for Future Media and Journalism (FuJo), where she is investigating social media for public participation in an authoritarian context. Her research interests lie in feminist activism, connective action, digital media and the Global South. Nhung holds a BA and a MA in French linguistics (Vietnam National University) and a MA in Public Relations (Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium), fully funded by the Belgian Government. From 2018 to 2020, Nhung participated in diverse development projects to empower underprivileged young people and female domestic violence victims in Vietnam.
