FuJo and the Irish branch of the Online News Association (ONA) are holding a review of the Irish General Election online coverage on Thursday March 3 in DCU. The post-election event, coming after ONA’s successful launch in January, pulls together new data, insights and verdicts on the media’s coverage of #GE16.
Our panelists on the night will include Mark Little, Vice-President of media for Europe and Africa with Twitter; Kevin Doyle, Group Political Editor of Independent News and Media (INM); Dr Jane Suiter, Political Scientist and Journalism Specialist at DCU FuJo; Mary Regan, Political Editor with UTV Ireland, Dr Georgiana Ifrim, lecturer in UCD’s School of Computer Science and a funded investigator with the Insight Centre for Data Analytics; and Liam Corcoran, Head of Communications with NewsWhip.
